The Government Investment Corporation of Singapore marked its 30th anniversary with a one-day conference and dinner last week.
In addition to remarks from the city-state’s great and good – including Tony Tan Keng-Yam, deputy chairman of GIC; Tharman Shanmugaratnam, finance minister; Lee Hsien-Loong, prime minister; and Lee Kuan-Yew – the GIC organised three panel sessions to look at investment issues.
