SSB promotes Charles Cheung
Salomon Smith Barney has promoted Charles Cheung to be head of China Research.
Charles Cheung - who until today covered red chip conglomerates at Salomon Smith Barney - has been promoted to the newly created position of head of China research. His new role will be to co-ordinate Salomon's research on Chinese equity and work closely with the firm's China economist Yiping Huang to accelerate the growth of Salomon's China franchise.
