Shergold resigns as Computershare director

Global share registry company loses non-executive director.

Computershare, the world's largest share transfer agent and registrar, has announced that John Shergold has tendered his resignation as a director of the company. Shergold has been a non-executive director since June 1995 and the company says it has accepted his resignation with regret.

Computershare chairman Sandy Murdoch thanked John Shergold for his outstanding contribution to the company during its formative years and in particular the role he played in the establishment and conduct of the company’s Risk and Audit Committee.
