Bill Bradley joins the firm from Hunton & Williams.

International law firm Norton Rose has hired Bill Bradley as new partner for its growing Asian energy and project finance practise. Based in Bangkok, Bradley joins from Hunton & Williams.

US qualified, he has been based in Asia for eight years and brings the total number of partners in Asia up to 18. His appointment also follows the recent hiring of Somboon Kitiyansub in Bangkok and Freeman Chan in Hong Kong.

He represents project sponsors, lenders and service providers as well as governments and state-owned enterprises in all aspects of energy related infrastructure projects.

Bradley's recent projects include acting for Tractebel in connection with its acquisition and financing of the Houay Ho power project in Lao, acting for EGAT, Thailand's state-owned electricity utility, in the formation of Ratchaburi Electricity company and subsequently acting for Ratchaburi in the acquisition of a power generating facility from EGAT. He has also acted for EGCO, Thailand's first power producer, since 1995 on a number of matter including international investments.
