No rash of QFII approvals expected despite long queue

New QFII licence approvals for two Taiwan firms bring the total this year to just 10. Z-Ben Advisors sees negative correlation between approvals and local stock market performance.
Last week saw Fubon Investment Trust and Capital Investment Trust become the first Taiwanese institutions to be granted qualified foreign institutional investor (QFII) licences by Beijing.
