Thomas Kabisch is Munich-based chief executive and chief investment officer of MEAG, which manages the €182 billion in assets of German reinsurer Munich Re and its insurance subsidiary Ergo, €164 billion of which is invested in bonds.  He was chosen to set up and run MEAG as CEO in April 1999 and is responsible for mandate management and central functions.
