Moody's appoints new credit ratings MD

Moody’s Investor Service has appointed Richard Cantor as managing director of its credit ratings business. Prior to his new position, Cantor was a senior vice-president in the company’s financial guarantors group. He will continue to extend Moody’s default research, conduct analysis of ratings consistency, and develop monitoring tools.
