JPMorgan shuffles securitization team
Burke goes to Europe and business continues from Tokyo.
Paul Burke, former head of JPMorgan's asset-backed securities business in the region, has moved from Hong Kong to London to take a senior role in the Structured Credit Products Group. In this position, Paul will focus on structured finance transactions for the firm's corporate and sovereign clients in Europe.
JPMorgan's non-Japan Asian Structured Finance business will continue under the management of Mahesh Bulchandani in Tokyo, currently the head of Structured Credit Products for Australasia. RJ Sarthou, who worked with Paul in Hong Kong, will transfer from Hong Kong to Tokyo, where he will originate and execute structured product business, reporting to Mahesh.
