Intech launches first long/short fund
The Janus Capital subsidiary makes its Collared Long Short (120/20) Fund available to Asian institutional investors.
Intech, a subsidiary of Janus Capital, has launched its first long/short fund using its proprietary stochastic portfolio modelling, which aims to beat the Russell 1000 index by 4.75% to 5.75% on a long-term basis.It is based on the same principles as the companyÆs long-only strategies, which typically target excess returns of up to 4% depending on risk profile.
