Hong Kong hedgies salute gods of rock in jam for Japan
The Hong Kong hedge fund community staged a music gig and raised an excellent sum to help people hit by the tsunami in Japan. Here we provide a few photos of the event.
On Thursday night last week, Hong Kong financiers arranged a music event and put their hands in their pockets to aid Japan following the March 11 earthquake and tsunami that wreaked such devastation and loss of life.
Participants and event sponsors from the alternatives industry included Senrigan Capital, Marco Polo Pure Asset Management, DragonBack Capital and Hong Kong's grooviest PR blondies, The Consultancy.
Starring at the event was 11-year-old Japanese guitar phenomenon Yuto Miyazawa.Here is Yuto-San with rock god Ozzy Osbourne.
'Is Ozzy your fave rocker?' AsianInvestor asked him. 'Yes he is!!' he told us after the gig.
