With private equity investments as far east as the Kamchatka peninsula, Nordic-headquartered East Capital takes Asian investment to the very edge of the map.
East Capital, a fund manager and private equity firm with a specialty in Eastern Europe and all roads leading east, has opened a representative office in Hong Kong with Michael Hanson-Lawson as managing director. He plans to build a team in the coming months for the Stockholm-headquartered firm which was founded 10 years ago and now has assets under management of $6.4 billion.
