Deutsche expands global equities teams

Deutsche has added two new directors of Asian equities sales.

Deutsche Bank has appointed Punit Khanna as director of Asian equities sales, and Eddy Kuo as head of Taiwan equities and director of Asian equities sales.

Khanna will be based in Hong Kong and will report to Jeffrey Chung, head of Asian general sales. Meanwhile, Kuo will be based in Taipei and will report to Ed Peter, head of equities for Asia Pacific (ex-Japan).

Before landing at Deutsche, Khanna managed all country products for Goldman Sachs Singapore. Prior to this, he was also a director and head of India sales with UBS Warburg.

"Punit has an outstanding track record and a great depth of experience in regional equities sales," said Chung.

Following a short stint at Jardine Fleming Securities where he was responsible for international equities and mutual funds, Kuo spent more than three years with Robert Fleming Securities (JP Morgan) in London where he specialized in equity sales of Taiwan and South Korea.

Eddy has an outstanding track record and substantial experience in regional equities sales, particularly in Taiwan and South Korea," said Peter.
