Deutsche Bank has announced the appointment of Rohan Rodrigo as the new chief country officer for Sri Lanka. Rodrigo replaces Andreas Hoffman, who is to return to Germany after serving three years in the same capacity.

Reporting to Martin Loat, chief executive officer of Deutsche's corporate and investment bank activities, Rodrigo will share the responsibility of the bank's Sri Lankan business with Kimarli Wickremasinghe, who heads cash management and relationship management.

Rodrigo will handle all other bank affairs, including asset and liability management, while also dealing with regulators and government agencies.
