Award-winning prime broker joins Citadel subsidiary

Hedge fund administrator Omnium has hired Alexis Fosler as head of international sales, based in Hong Kong. She reports to global head of business development Peter Sanchez.

Omnium is a subsidiary of Ken Griffin’s international hedge fund group Citadel, and used to be named Citadel Solutions before changing its title in 2009. The firm took on its first third-party client in 2007 and now has $60 billion in assets under administration.

Before joining Omnium, Fosler had been working in prime broking sales for Citi, and before that was employed in the offshore banking industry in the British Virgin Islands. She has also worked in Hong Kong in equity sales/research for SBC, UBS and Credit Suisse. Most recently she spent time in Singapore working with Philippa Allen in ComplianceAsia.

Fosler was awarded ‘Best Prime Brokerage Salesperson’ by AsianInvestor in 2008 in recognition of her business-winning achievements.

Separately, AsianInvestor is now accepting nominations for 2010 individual prime broking awards, in the following categories: best salesperson; best capital introductions specialist; and best hedge fund consultant.
