Asia-Pacific sovereign pension fund assets surge
JapanÆs Government Pension Investment Fund is still the worldÆs largest pension fund, a position it has held since 2002.
Sovereign pension funds continued to feature strongly in Watson Wyatt's global ranking of pension funds, having grown 24% in the past five years. The 26 sovereign pension funds tracked by Watson Wyatt make up 23% of the assets of the top 300 pension funds.
