ABN Amro Private Banking names North Asia head
The Dutch lender continues its private bank expansion in Asia, hiring Ian Pollock, the former regional head of VP Bank, to replace Arjan de Boer, who is being promoted.
Ian Pollock is joining ABN Amro as head of private banking in North Asia, marking his return to the sector after departing from rival VP Bank in October.
In his new role, effective on May 13, Pollock will oversee ABN Amro's North Asia private banking business in the markets of Hong Kong, mainland China and Taiwan, as well as the Philippines.
He will also become a member of ABN Amro's Asia and Middle East private banking management team and Hong Kong country management team.
